Digital Rights Management (DRM)
Serious Sam Double D does not appear to use any DRM aside from that of the distributor (e.g. the Steam version is locked to Steam but the Gamersgate version is DRM-free).
Graphical Tweaks
Rendering Resolution
(These instructions refer only to the Steam version of the game. The tweak may work similarly on DRM-free copies if you modify a shortcut to the game with the debug option, but I cannot confirm this.)
If you need to run the game in a resolution not listed in the video options (such as 1920x1200), you can run it with this debug command. In Steam, right-click the game and select Properties->Set Launch Options. In the command line, set:
"debugResX 1920 debugResY 1200" (include the quotation marks)
Substitute the proper debugResX or Width that you need and the proper debugResY or Height needed. The levels were built only up to 1920x180 as the absolute max. If you go into 2560x1600 things may get unpleasant if you start seeing "outside" the game world.
Controller Support
Supports 360 and other Xinput controllers.
