Some issues with red vignetting and other effects that are in the 16:9 area. These can be fixed using another jackfuste fix that disables these textures entirely.

Run the game at screen refresh rate

Fullscreen mode defaults to 60 Hz even if the screen refresh rate is set higher than that.
Override refresh rate set by game, with Nvidia graphics card
  1. Start the Nvidia Control Panel.
  2. Go to "Manage 3D Settings" in the left pane, then "Program Settngs" in the right pane.
  3. Click "Add", locate Sekiro and add the selected program.
  4. In the Feature list, set "Preferred refresh rate" to "Highest available".
  5. In the Feature list, set "Vertical sync" to "Off".
  6. Click "Apply" in the bottom right of the window.
Override refresh rate set by game, with third party tool[6]
  1. Download 3Dmigoto (or download Disable_textures_v3.7z if you want to remove texture overlays).
  2. Extract d3d11.dll, d3dcompiler_46.dll, and d3dx.ini to the installation folder.
  3. Open d3dx.ini and go to the [Device] section.
  4. Change ;refresh_rate=60 to refresh_rate=120 or your desired refresh rate (make sure to remove the ;)
  5. Optionally you can now delete everything else in the d3dx.ini besides the 2 lines [Device] and refresh_rate=120 should anything be causing you issues
This requires the jackfuste's fix which requires Steamless
