Avatar: the Game is a third-person shooter video game released by Ubisoft in 2009, just a couple weeks before the film was released in theaters.
When playing the Na'vi storyline, it's possible to fall between two paths while in the Hallelujah Mountains. The player cannot jump high enough to get back on the path, so you have to jump to your death to keep playing.
