This page is for the 2016 game. For the original 2000 game, see Hitman: Codename 47.

Key points

Various players report crashing during gameplay[3][4] and poor performance in general.[3]
The game requires a constant internet connection for some features to work properly (Elusive targets, Contracts mode and Challenge progression).[5]
Story mode is available offline, as well as any item unlocked via challenges/ story progression acquired online can be used offline. A late November 2016 patch made unlockables sync to the offline profile and online profile simultaneously.
All players receive the Hitman 2016 soundtrack and the "Making of" documentary, regardless of purchase history.
