Instructions[2]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>\MovieFiles\
  2. Delete or rename Intro.bik, GameIntro.bik, and SimBin.bik.

Restore removed content

Due to licensing issues, all Ferrari and Porsche cars have been removed from the Steam version of the game.
Downgrade the game to pre-Steam version 1.1.0.0[3]
  1. Download the European 1.1.0.0 patch.
  2. Extract European Patch v1_100 by 10tacle.rar using any file unpacker.
  3. Run GTR2_1100_WE_Update.exe, being sure to point it toward your Steam install.
  4. Backup or rename GTR2.exe located in <path-to-game>.
  5. Download the European 1.1.0.0 No CD patch.
  6. Extract the contents of GTR2 No CD v1_1 by Reloaded.rar to <path-to-game>.
  7. Launch the game through Steam.
