Earthworm Jim 3D

From PCGamingWiki, the wiki about fixing PC games
Revision as of 00:50, 8 February 2019 by Robo4900 (talk | contribs) (Added the issue about the Steam music, and a description of how to fix it. No link to the fix files, since I don't think linking a download of the game's EXE would be such a good idea...)

Issues fixed

No Music in the Steam Version

Replace EXE and Add Missing Files[2]
  1. You need to download the missing music files, the DLL the game needs to play them, and a version of the game's EXE that can recognise the DLL and the music files.
  2. Put the DLL into the game's folder, replace the EXE, and put the music in a folder within the main folder, called "Music".

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/41600/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (41600) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
