Modify Field of View

Crysis 2 doesn't have options in game for modifying your field of view. However it can be easily modified through the in game console. To modify your field of view, do these steps in order:

  1. Open the in game console using the tilde (~) key.
  2. Type in cl_fov XX, where XX is your desired field of view. (For example, type in cl_fov 80 for a field of view of 80).
  3. Repeat this step upon each launch of the game.

For a more permanent solution, follow these steps in order:

  • Open up notepad or your chosen text editor.
  • Create a new file and add the following lines:

cl_fov = XX pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov = XX

  • Save the file as autoexec.cfg in your Crysis 2 folder (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2)
