OpenGL version

Windows defaults to DirectX version of the game. The OpenGL version is available as an optional public branch in Steam.
The OpenGL version of the game runs on FNA and SDL2, which has more controller support than XNA (DirectX).[1]
Change to the OpenGL version on Windows[1]
  1. Launch Steam.
  2. Select the game, Right-click on it and select Properties.
  3. Open the Betas tab.
  4. Change Select the beta you would like to opt into to opengl - and click Close.
  5. Play the game after the download have finished.
