Skip intro videos

Intro videos can be disabled in configuration utility by unchecking Video option in configuration utility. Alternatively you can do that by manually editing the configuration file.

  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Open Config.e5c with a text editor.
  3. Find the ShowVideo parameter.
  4. Int the same line change 1 value to 0.

Immortal Badass Mod

Contains unofficial patch, new weapons and changes various game aspects, making game a bit harder.

Missing music and characters voiceovers

Enable the following compatibility settings for the E5.exe file: Compatibility mode (Windows XP (Service Pack 3))[4]
The Steam overlay will not work after applying this fix.
  • Locate the E5 executable file. It can be found in <path-to-game>\E5.exe.
  • Use Windows XP (Service Pack 3) compatibility mode. Example for Windows 10:
    • Right-click the E5.exe file icon and choose Properties from the context menu that appears.
    • Click on the Compatibility tab.
    • Select the Run this program in compatibility mode for: checkbox and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) from the list below.
