Essential improvements

BloodGDX

BloodGDX is a 1:1 reverse-engineered port of Blood to Windows, it requires you own the original 1.21 version of the game (for now). Due to it using the original Blood code, it also allows custom maps and episodes from the original game to be used. It is in alpha state and still contains some bugs.

Blood Launcher

The One Unit Whole Blood Launcher is recommended for the best experience. It includes a large number of optional modifications and custom maps.

bMouse

bMouse is a DOS extension which improves mouse looking by removing the mouse filter which causes issues related to both axis not updating properly.
Instructions

BloodCM

BloodCM is a remake of the game in a Duke Nukem 3D source port, eDuke32. It has inconsistencies in physics, AI, and secrets compared to the original. But is recommended if you would like a part of the experience at high resolutions and frame-rates.

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/299030/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (299030) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
