Start the game in windowed mode[citation needed]
  1. Install nGlide wrapper.
  2. Configure D3DWindower to start _st_3dfx.exe.
  3. In Foreground Control enable Use Foreground Control, GetActiveWindow, GetForegroundWindow - this will make it possible to Alt-tab from a game, although the game will be still preforming actions even if out of focus.
  4. In Direct Input tab enable Use Direct Input and Cursor Clip.
