Replace intro file with empty one^{[citation needed]}
Download empty intro file and extract it. Move it to the installation folder, overriding already existing one.

Start the game in windowed mode^{[citation needed]}
Install nGlide wrapper. Configure D3DWindower to start `_st_3dfx.exe`. In Foreground Control enable Use Foreground Control, GetActiveWindow, GetForegroundWindow - this will make it possible to Alt-tab from a game, although the game will be still preforming actions even if out of focus. In Direct Input tab enable Use Direct Input and Cursor Clip.

Install 3dfx wrapper and use it as a renderer^{[citation needed]}
