Notes

This fix is only for NVIDIA GeForce GPUs.
Creating a profile for Angels Fall First and applying the fix's settings to that profile will also work.

Windows 10

Windows 10 occasionally mis-configures GPUs (i.e. configures a discrete GPU as an integrated+dedicated GPU setup), especially when upgrading from an earlier Windows version.
Ensure GPU drivers are up-to-date[3]
Reinstall GPU drivers[3]

Issues fixed

Game crashes when using DirectX 11

Reduce all setting to lowest values[citation needed]
  1. Start the game without the -DX11 command line argument.
  2. Turn off and set all graphics options to their lowest levels.
  3. Apply the changes, then quit the game.
  4. Re-add the -DX11 command line argument.

Notes

You can set all graphics options back to the way they were once the fix is applied.
