Key points

May have compatibility problems running on newer Windows operating systems.
Acceleration of SUGURI X-Edition HD is based on the PlayStation 3 port, which combines the base game and the X-Edition expansion pack into one game.
Features higher resolutions, widescreen support, and remappable keys than the original Acceleration of SUGURI, with the ability to chose the to chose between the original or redrawn HD graphics. Some assets however still uses their low-resolution version with the HD graphics.
The DRM-free and initial release of the Steam version was reported to have more bugs than the original Acceleration of SUGURI.[1] A patch was released in 2014 to fix some of these issues, but only for the Steam version.
