D3DOverrider

D3DOverrider can be used to force triple buffering and Vsync for games in which these options are not otherwise available. The software is distributed as part of the freeware program RivaTuner. Once RivaTuner is installed, D3DOverrider can be found in the program's Tools folder. D3DOverrider does not require RivaTuner in order to work, so if the D3DOverrider folder is copied or moved to another location, it can be used on its own even after RivaTuner is uninstalled.[1]
