Assassin's Creed is the first installment of the Assassin's Creed series developed and published by Ubisoft.

System Requirements

Minimum:

  • CPU: Intel Pentium D 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+
  • RAM: 512 MB (Windows XP), 1 GB (Windows Vista, 7)
  • HDD: 9 GB free space
  • Video: 256 MB, DirectX 9.0c, Shader Model 3.0
  • Audio: DirectX 9.0 or 10.0 compliant sound card, speakers/headphones

Recommended:

  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+
  • RAM: 2 GB
  • HDD: 9.0 GB free space
  • Video: 512 MB, DirectX 10.0
  • Audio: 5.1 channel surround sound

Patches

Patch is currently at version 1.02. It is heavily recommended to patch to the latest version.

Controller won't work properly

Download the file below "Xbox Controller Fix.rar". Unpack both files(x360ce.ini and xinput1_3.dll) in the main Assassin's Creed directory. This method will also work with Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations.
