Project Zomboid
Introduction
Project Zomboid is a 3rd person isometric survival RPG with horror elements currently being developed by The Indie Stone. The game is currently in alpha, so bugs and poor performance are expected to be commonplace.
Windows
Availability
The game can be bought new on Desura. If you bought the game before it was made available on Desura, you should be able to activate using this page. If not, the game can still be downloaded and played using the username/password combination The Indie Stone sent you.
Digital Rights Management (DRM)
DRM is limited to standard Desura features.
Patches
While Desura does automatically patch the game to the latest version, The Indie Stone usually release some pre-release updates before officially rolling anything out. The download thread for the latest version can be found here.
Issues And Fixes
Plank Craft Fix
There is a mod which fixes craft planking that can be found here on the Indie Stone Forums.
Mods And Utilities
Because the game is written in Java, modding is relatively easy. The Indie Stone have also released some tools that give modders easier access to the game, and as such, a wide variety of mods can be found on the Forums.
