Football Manager 2012 is the most recent iteration of Sports Interactive's Football Manager franchise. All versions of the game require Steam activation.

Issues and Fixes

Low Resolution Screens

Typically, Football Manager 2012 has a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and will crash upon launch when using a screen with a lower resolution (e.g. a netbook). To run this game on such a screen, complete the following steps:

  • Run Steam.
  • Navigate to your game library.
  • Right click on Football Manager 2012 and select "Properties".
  • Click "Set Launch Options".
  • Input "-small_screen -windowed" into the box.
  • Click "OK", then "Close" and launch the game.
