Games for Windows Live and Steamworks
Using Games for Windows Live is optional since patch 1.1. However, it is not possible to play the Steamworks version with a Games for Windows Live save and vice versa. This also means that using Games for Windows Live will not unlock Steam achievements and using Steamworks will not unlock Games for Windows Live achievements.
