An updated version of the game, entitled Thief Gold, is available from Steam and GOG.com. The game contains a number of enhancements that allow it to work on modern operating systems, including:

The game has been patched to the latest version, 1.37.

Mods

Enhancement Pack

The Enhancement Pack will replace low quality objects and textures with versions that have higher polygon counts and texture resolutions.

This mod is compatible with the original Thief: The Dark Project and its expanded version, Thief Gold, as well as the sequel, Thief II: The Metal Age.
