This game is notoriously picky with MIDI devices. Just what is it expecting? The error occurring doesn't necessarily mean the MIDI won't play. It does mean that it won't stop when race is over, however. I wish I knew more about MIDI in general- are there any wrappers that could be used? Any workarounds? It feels like the game needs lied to about something, but that something I don't know. It played fine for me a couple years back with GS Wavetable, but I've never gotten it working with anything else and the last time I attempted to get it to work with GS Wavetable it didn't work... wonder if MIDIMapper is at fault? Ugh.
