Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business is the first standalone expansion for Jagged Alliance 2. It does not require the original game to play. It includes a new singleplayer storyline, new characters, weapons, maps and gameplay changes. It also comes with a campaign editor, unlike the original.

Issues unresolved
"Error code 85" or "Application load error" on startup
- An issue which affects the Steam version specifically. Some users report solving it with switching the executable to one without the DRM.[3]
- The retail Gold Pack, GOG.com and Zoom Platform versions are unaffected by this issue.
