Issues unresolved

Extreme slowdowns when turning a character with an Xbox One Controller

When changing the direction John is running with a controller in the pre-prologue scene, framerate and gameplay speed tanks massively, going as low as 13 FPS on an Nvidia GeForce 3060.[5]

Frequent freezing during loading screens

When using the Windows key to take focus away from the game, and then focus back on the game, the game will crash on the next level transition loading screen.[6]

Issues fixed

Red pixel outlines on image (Nvidia)

Example of the "red pixel outline" issue.
Example of the "red pixel outline" issue.

When Nvidia users force anisotropic filtering on with this game, red pixel outlines can appear on the image.

Disable anisotropic filtering via the GPU control panel[7][8]

Slowdown/Freezes with Xbox One/Series Controller

This issue only happens when using an xbox controller connected via bluetooth.

Connect the controller with a USB cable or with Xbox Wireless Dongle.
