Widescreen resolution

The game allows completely arbitrary resolutions by editing the .ini file.
Set custom resolution[2]
2D elements are stretched when playing at wider than 16:9 aspect ratio.
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open BRsetting.ini.
  3. Change ScreenWidth= and ScreenHeight= values to the desired resolution.
  4. Start the game with BLUE_REFLECTION.exe in the installation folder.
Custom resolution with fitted UI[3]
Note that this section might require some additional fiddling on your side.
For Steam version, you'll first need to use Steamless to unpack the .exe file in order to allow modifications
  1. Use an HEX editor to modify BLUE_REFLECTION.exe with the desired resolution : 39 8E E3 3F => <your value> (see Common HEX values)
  2. Modify the game's settings file with the desired resolution (Widescreen resolution)
  3. Download 3Dmigoto and unpack it in the game's folder : <path-to-game>
  4. Run the game once
  5. Fit the UI by downloading the shader files over here and placing them in the "ShaderFixes" folder
  6. Edit the values as specified in the above link for you aspect ratio

Depth of field

Disabling depth of field may bring performance gains of ~10 FPS.[4]
Disable depth of field[2]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open BRsetting.ini.
  3. Change DepthOfField=1 to DepthOfField=0.

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/658260/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (658260) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
