Set custom FPS limit

The in game settings only has a 30 FPS and 60 FPS limit.
Using the in game or custom frame rate limit greatly improves the micro stuttering issues.

  1. Install Special K by following the Special K Unofficial Guide.
  2. Start the game and press Ctrl+ Shift+← Backspace to toggle Special K's Control Panel.
  3. Expand "Input Management", then "Gamepad".
  4. Enable "Disable ALL Rumble" and close the Control Panel.
  5. Press Ctrl+ Shift+O to toggle Special K's On-Screen Display.

Controller Not Detected (non-Steam)

Launching the game from a non-Steam source may result in controllers not responding in-game.
Use Steam Controller Configuration[7]
  1. Add the game's executable as a non-Steam game into your Steam library
  2. Enter Steam Big Picture Mode
  3. Navigate to Settings > Controller Settings
  4. Check the box of your preferred control method (e.g. "Xbox Configuration Support")
  5. Launch the game from Big Picture mode.

Micro stuttering issues

Using the in game or custom frame rate limit greatly improves the micro stuttering issues.
