Issues fixed

Settings reset when launching the game

Any setting changes you have made may revert back to their default settings when you re-launch the game.
Back up your original game executable before using either of these fixes.
Download the patched executable from this Steam guide and replace the one found in <path-to-game>[1]
Apply the fixes manually[1]
  1. Download DeltaPatcher and this fan-made patch.xdelta file.
  2. Extract the contents of the deltapatcher_v*_win32_bin.zip to its own folder somewhere temporarily where it can be easily accessed.
  3. Run the DeltaPatcherLite.exe program. Under the Original file: section, click the folder button next to the dialogue box and point the program to the game's executable (Phantom Brave PC.exe) usually found under <path-to-game>, and then then under XDelta patch: section, point it to the patch.xdelta that you downloaded.
  4. After both the game's executable and patch files are loaded in DeltaPatcher, click the Apply patch and allow the program to patch the executable. Once the program is done, you should be able to play the game with your desired settings loading properly.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/409870/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (409870) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
