Hex-edit the .exe[6]
  1. Open <path-to-game>\ZOMBI.exe with a hex-editor such as HxD.
  2. Search for 39 8E E3 3F as hex.
  3. Replace it with 26 B4 17 40 for 2560x1080 or 8E E3 18 40 for 3440x1440.

Notes

Hud is stretched.

Disable chromatic aberration

Hex-edit the .exe[7]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>.
  2. Make a backup of ZOMBI.exe.
  3. Open ZOMBI.exe with a hex-editor such as HxD.
  4. Now search for the word chrom and you will find two sentences about chromatic aberration. The one you need to modify will be named ENABLE_CHROMATIC_ABERRATION.€SQ
  5. All you need now is to modify the phrase by changing E to D, resulting in DNABLE_CHROMATIC_ABERRATION.€SQ (example)
  6. Save the changes.

Issues fixed

No keyboard and mouse button prompts

After testing several scenarios in both Steam and Uplay versions of the game, this workaround fixes the issue every time:[citation needed]
  1. You need to have an active controller/gamepad. Make sure it is turned on before launching the game.
  2. Run the game, gamepad prompt appears, use the gamepad.
  3. Turn off the gamepad (disconnect USB or take out the batteries).
  4. Press any key and the keyboard prompt will appear.

(Must repeat the procedure every time the game is launched)
