Final Fantasy IV (3D Remake) is a JRPG developed by Square Enix in collaboration with Matrix Software. It is a 3D remake of the original Final Fantasy IV (originally known in the West as Final Fantasy II) released on Super Famicom in 1991, featuring additional story elements and gameplay improvements.

This 3D remake was first released on Nintendo DS in 2007 and was later ported to iOS and Android in 2012 and 2013 respectively. The PC port, which was developed by DotEmu and released in 2014, is based on the enhanced Android version.

The port received criticism on release for some aspects inherited from the Android version such as the touch-friendly UI, and missing support even for the most common aspect ratios like 16:9. A big update for the PC port was released by Square Enix in November 2020 which improved the experience with a more traditional UI, better gamepad support and adjustments to keyboard and mouse controls, various widescreen aspect ratios support including 21:9, and Asian languages support.[1] The frame rate is still capped at 30 FPS during exploration and 15 FPS in battles.
