  1. Go to <path-to-game>\data.
  2. Delete or rename intro.bik and interplay.bik (if present).

Peixoto's patch

Peixoto's patch not only gets the game running on Windows 10, but also allows high resolution without shrinking the HUD\menus and Super sampling anti-aliasing. At the moment only the retail version is supported.

Both the GOG.com and Steam versions use LauncherConfig.ini.

Game does not start (Steam)

Install the Soulbringer Steam startup fix.

Can not change language (Steam)

The Steam version's language switcher does not work.
Set language manually[3]
  1. Edit <path-to-game>\data\lang.dat with a text editor.
  2. Change english e to french f, spanish s, german g, dutch d, or italian i
  3. Save the changes and close the file.
  4. Go to <path-to-game>\data\wavs\vo\english.
  5. Copy everything into the folder for the game language set in lang.dat.
