Essential improvements

Patches

Latest patch is version 1.0a available here.

dgVoodoo 2

This game is rendered in 16 bit color depth, dgVoodoo 2 forces 32 bit color depth which significantly improves the rendering quality.
Instructions[1]
  1. Download the latest version of dgVoodoo 2 and unpack it (confirmed working with version 2.54).
  2. Copy all the files from the MS/x86/ folder.
  3. Paste the files into <path-to-game>.
Increasing HUD and text size[1]
  1. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe and in DirectX tab select your desired resolution.
  2. In the game video settings menu (or the config file), set a resolution that is lower than the one set in dgVoodoo 2. The lower the resolution selected in game, the bigger the HUD and text will be rendered on screen.
