  1. Open Vrally3.exe with a hex editor such as HxD.
  2. Press Ctrl+F and search for the hex value 00040003.
  3. Replace 00040003 with:

    • 00050004 for 1280x1024
    • 56050003 for 1366x768

  4. Press Ctrl+G and type 0 in the text field.
  5. Press Ctrl+R and type the hex value 68ABAAAA3F in the first text field.
  6. Depending on the aspect ratio of your screen, type in the second text field:
    • 680000A03F for 5:4 screens
    • 68CDCCCC3F for 16:10 screens
    • 685555D53F for 15:9 screens

  7. Click "Replace All" and save the file.
Use a DirectX wrapper
  1. Download the latest version of dgVoodoo 2 and extract the archive.
  2. Open the MS\x86 folder and copy D3D8.dll, D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll files.
  3. Paste the files into the game installation folder <path-to-game> where the game executable is.
  4. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe as administrator. Click the [.\] button below the banner.
  5. Under the DirectX tab, choose a Video card. Change the resolution to anything desired.
  6. Untick "dgVoodoo Watermark"
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Run the game.

Delete video files

Remove "Videos" folder from "Euro\Bnk" in game installation directory. They will not play, but they aren't essential.
