Hi Delusibeta - can you help confirm what version of SS2Tool is being used in the GOG.com version? Is there any benefit to updating it to a newer version?

From the System Shock modding forums it appears that the GOG version includes a "DatapermanentMods" folder which from the SS2Tool changelog suggests that the version of SS2Tool used older than 4.7 (for reference, SS2Tool is up to version 4.8). I picked 4.0 because it's the initial NewDark version and that's what one of the contributors to SS2Tool says it is. Regardless, it's definitely outdated.
It also appears there some extra files which the SS2Tool folks don't like (top post of the SS2Tool changelog), so there's probably extra stuff thrown on top. Feel free to edit to something more vague, but it's definitely an old version of SS2Tool they shipped with.
