Since when are we removing Steam paths if it's not a Steam exclusive game? How will the user know what the install path is for Steam if it's not listed?
I'm not aware of so much removing, but just plain not listing them, as there almost never is an appropriate reason to do so. An install path will not serve much purpose, and Steam has got the "Browse local files..." function built-in.
