Multi-monitor

Set resolution in pchardwareconfig.ini Run the Hardware Setup tool and select 1024x768. Go to the savedata folder in the installation folder. Edit pchardwareconfig.ini. Change the FullScreenHeight= and FullScreenWidth= values to match your resolution. Change the FullScreenRefresh= to your resolution's refresh rate (usually 60 or 75). Save your changes.

Windowed

Enable windowed mode[citation needed] Go to the savedata folder in the installation folder. Edit pchardwareconfig.ini Change StartWindowed=0 to StartWindowed=1 Save your changes.

Issues fixed

Hardware Setup spinning cube doesn't appear

Hardware Setup's spinning cube might not appear; simply choose Yes when prompted for the refresh rate you want (usually 60).

Game won't run (retail)

The retail version has StarForce DRM that needs to be updated.

Update StarForce DRM[citation needed] Download SFUPDATE. Extract it and run sfdrvup.exe Follow the steps. The game should now run.
