Version differences

Singles + is an updated re-release, including the latest patch and the Kitchen Set DLC. It was released in the UK.
Singles - Extended Version is an updated re-release, including the latest patch, both the Kitchen Set and Make Up DLC, and some exclusive content. It was released in Germany.
The original US (Eidos) release is censored. The game was later re-released uncensored.

Essential improvements

Patches

Patch 1.4 introduced extensions (DLC) which can add to the functionality of the game. See DLC and expansion packs.
Update 1.6 was the last patch for the EU version only, not for the US (Eidos) version. It includes all of the previous fixes and improvements, and adds a photo session mode. It also installs two official extensions (DLC): Kitchen Set and Make Up.
