[edit] Issues unresolved

  • Poor performance on AMD cards.[8]
  • Cannot select 1366x768 resolution despite having 1366x768 native desktop resolution.[9]
  • If you take hits plenty of time the controller will disconnect then reconnects but the game will lag doing so.
  • Default mic is always on in multiplayer, there's no option to disable it. Lowering the voice chat volume to 0 won't completely mute it.

[edit] Co-op glitches

  • Jake Mission 4-4: Some players may be dropped upon entering the level.
  • Chris Mission 4-4: After collecting the three passcodes, you enter a quicktime event; the co-op partner might not see the enemies needed to be shot. Workaround is to complete that section single-player, and continue the game upon boarding the plane. [10]

[edit] Issues fixed

[edit] ERROR 08

Disadvantage Crash during prelude.

Fix Turn down graphics settings[11]Link

Turning down graphics settings temporarily during prelude may improve stability long enough to allow you to progress past that stage.

[edit] ERR09: Unsupported function

Fix ERR09 : Unsupported FunctionLink

On startup, you may receive this error message if the game tries opening a fullscreen resolution not supported by your video card.

  1. Open %USERPROFILE%\CAPCOM\RESIDENT EVIL 6\
  2. Open Config.ini or create it if it isn't present.
  3. In the [DISPLAY] section, set FullScreen="OFF", or create those sections and lines as necessary.
