  2. Add the entry CelebrityPoker.exe

Issues fixed[edit]

Game crash after TTG logo (CelebrityPoker.exe has stopped working)[edit]

Fix Verify Steam cache

  1. Find Poker Night at the Inventory in your Steam Library
  2. Right click on it
  3. Click Properties
  4. Go to the Local Files tab
  5. Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache

Fix Reinstall game

  1. Find Poker Night at the Inventory in your Steam Library
  2. Right click on it
  3. Click Delete Local Content...
  4. Once it's done deleting the game files, reinstall the game

Fix Delete the preferences and save files

  1. Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Telltale Games\Poker Night at the Inventory
  2. Backup the files in this folder
  3. Delete prefs.prop, this will delete your preferences and create a new one in its place once you relaunch the game
  4. Relaunch the game
  5. If the game once again fails to launch, delete pnati_save.save from %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Telltale Games\Poker Night at the Inventory

Fix Launch as admin

  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Right-click CelebrityPoker.exe
  3. Click Run as administrator

Fix Run in compatibility mode

  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Right-click on CelebrityPoker.exe
  3. Click Properties and then the Compatibility tab.
  4. Tick Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) from the list.
  5. Once selected, click Apply and then OK to close the window.
  6. Launch the game.

On every startup, popup asks for permission to run update of vc redistributable[edit]

Fix Delete install script

  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Delete or rename 31280_install.vdf.
