The Standalone version of Paladins requires a Hi-Rez Account. As of November 7th, 2018, only a Steam account is required, but all versions require a constant internet connection for all game modes.
Cross-platform play between all supported stores and all supported consoles.
Cross-progression is supported for PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.[3]
PC to Playstation 4 cross-progression is not currently supported.

Boost Premium Event Pass Levels can be purchased with Gold.
Cosmetic Champions have skins, emotes and end of match poses, which can be bought with In Game currency.
Currency In game currency (Crystals) can be bought with real world money.
Free-to-grind In game currency is rewarded by reaching Event Pass levels and "Trials of the Realm" challenges.
Infinite spend In game currency can be bought multiple times to purchase consumables
Loot box In game currency can be used to buy chests.
Time-limited Event Pass skins are time limited, but will eventually be put into chests and made available for direct purchase with In Game currency. Some skins are of a "Limited" tier, and could only be gotten through past events or yearly season passes.
Unlock Champions, their skins ands other cosmetic options can be unlocked by in game currency.

Unlock/Modify framerate cap

The framerate cap can be unlocked/modified by editing DefaultEngine.ini or ChaosEngine.ini.

  1. Go to the configuration files location.
  2. Open DefaultEngine.ini or ChaosEngine.ini.
  3. Locate section [Engine.GameEngine].
  4. Change bSmoothFrameRate to FALSE.
  5. Save the file.
  6. Start the game.

  1. Go to the configuration files location.
