[edit] Beta Patch
There is a beta patch on Steam. To use the update, right-click on Miasmata within Steam and click 'Properties'. Then, click on the 'Betas' tab. on the drop-down menu, select 'patch1_beta1'. (The update is password protected. The password is: beta1) Click 'Close' and the update should begin to download. It'll be about 1 gig. Currently you can't get the beta update when using the GOG version.
