Issues fixed[edit]

Mouse Cursor permanently visible and stuck at center of screen when not in use[edit]

Run executable in Windows 8 compatibility mode[citation needed]
  1. Right click on game executable or shortcut and click properties.
  2. Click the Compatibility tab and tick "Run this program in compability mode".
  3. Select Windows 8 from the dropdown menu and apply.

This may not be as effective in the full game as in the trial version. It will at least allow for the issue to be resolved temporarily by accessing the weapon wheel a couple of times.

NOTE: Doing this might disable your DLCs (like Deep Space and Deluxe Edition bonuses) which will cause inability to load your saved games.

Volume is too low[edit]

Edit config file[4]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open ProfOpts_profile in text editor.
  3. Find any of these lines and edit them to your desired values
GstAudio.Master_Volume 1.000000
GstAudio.Volume_Music 1.000000
GstAudio.Volume_SFX 1.000000
GstAudio.Volume_VO 1.000000
  1. Set them to higher values such as 2.000000 or 3.000000 (which are 200% and 300% of in-game volume respectively).
  2. Save the file.
