Widescreen resolution[edit]

Just Cause is only able to run in 4:3 mode without modification. To allow any custom resolution, unzip this file (mirror) in the target installation folder, where JustCause.exe resides and edit the resolution.ini file to set your preferred resolution.[2] All game elements work in wide-screen, though cut-scenes, the in-game PDA, and some other elements may appear stretched.

Multi-monitor[edit]

See Widescreen resolution for the changes needed. Interface elements are very stretched but 3D elements have the correct aspect ratio.
