- Go to
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\WBGames\FEAR2\<user-id>
- Open settings.cfg with a text editor.
- Add a line:
"FovY" "XX.00000" where XX is your vertical FOV value (e.g. "FovY" "75.00000").
- Set the file to read only by right clicking on properties and checking read only.

Input settings[edit]
Having a frame rate above 60 will cause the mouse to not register slower movements.
|
Mouse acceleration
The solution to this problem is to cap your frame rate to 60.
- You can use Vsync to accomplish this but Vsync causes input lag.
- Other solution is to use a program like Dxtory to cap the FPS to 60 and then turn off Vsync. To cap your FPS with Dxtory go to the advanced tab (microchip). Then checkmark "Limit Video FPS" and set the number to 60.
- For nVidia cards you can use the free tool nVidia Inspector to accomplish this.
