Thumbnail generation not always working on updated files

The upgrade seems to have introduced a new problem. When an existing file is updated the new thumbnail sometimes fails to generate immediately--the file is totally missing (404 not found) rather than showing an error message on the wiki page itself. Reverting back and forth does force it to generate successfully. See File:Z (2012) settings.png.

Hm, this is an interesting issue. I see no reason why - although the moment you uploaded it was the exact moment the backups were finishing up. Keep an eye out, but this really could have been just a one-off issue - if it happens at different times, then there might be a bigger problem.
