Basing it off the Wikipedia article is a good idea. Have the sections for each type of bundle and then subsections for each bundle specifically. That way we have a separate table for each bundle.

I'd also recommend adding a "Bundle Table Template" to the Discussion page.

Thoughts?

I plan to flesh out some possible designs for this soon, but I'm away Thursday-Sunday, so I won't get that done too soon. I'm sort of for and against the splitting into sections according to bundle types, since on one hand it's nicely grouped, but then again you lose how it progressed chronologically.

A template might be a nice thing to do.

If you have any ideas for improving the tables or general design, put them in your sandbox or write them down here and I'll try to do some stuff later as well. Again though, I'm not available until 25/3.

After thinking about it for a bit it makes more sense to put it in order of release (games, that is), so maybe we should just have sections describing each bundle (Humble Indie Bundle, Humble Android Bundle, Developer-Specific Bundles) and then a list of all the bundles in the order of their release.

The new order would look like this:

Humble Indie Bundles

  • Description
  • List

Humble Bundles with Android

  • Description
  • List

Developer-Specific Bundles

  • Description
  • List

Bundle List

  • Main Bundles
  • Humble Indie Bundle 1
  • Humble Indie Bundle 2
  • Humble Frozenbyte Bundle
  • etc.
  • Weekly Sales
  • Week 1
  • Week 2
  • Music Bundles
  • Humble Music Bundle 1
  • Book Bundles
  • Humble eBook Bundle 1

Sorry I didn't reply then. I had no time at that point. The page looks nice, but I think we should avoid encyclopedic articles, which means the description would serve little purpose. I'll try to put an hour into it as soon as I catch up with everything else and prepare a new table style, and then we can migrate the page to the new format.

I won't be able to do much as I only have a table to work from and won't be able to login often. Feel free to do what you like with the page, but I've got it all prepared in my sandbox.

I've got this this going, what do you think of the new table layout? I'll make a new one for weeklies and probably the same thing can be used for the non-PC bundles.
