Maybe its skip_intro?
I found this too.
Add or set? SkipIntroVideo = true in the display.ini file (main installation folder)

That works. It should be mentioned in the article then. Any variation of -skip_intro skip_intro -skipintro doesn't do anything.
Do you have to add or set the line though? I don't own the game.
