Possibly using Denuvo DRM.
Let's see if it will be the good time paying users will be the favoured ones.

There's already a kind of denial, though this seems even less reliable than the original source

Stating they are uncrackable is bold.. Though I'm suprised that's still the case.
Besides, if you hadn't the time to read the entire steam discussions thread, the link between the DRM and bad game performance has not been proved, rather it seems more like one of the usual PhysX problems..

I already know most details, I just linked that just in case. And they never said it was uncrackable, it's simply ment to delay pirates just so that the game can sell a bit more on release.

I don't know about others, but if there's one thing that keeps me away from a game for a lifetime, it's DRM. Doesn't matter how cheap they might push it one day, just no.

Well, besides philosophical reason, not all DRMs come to harm.. (hardware-based are almost always a pain in the neck on linux/wine though)
