I would very much like to see this feature. I got my ass handed to me on hard and barely got any weapon or Vigor upgrades (still beat the game though). I think it would make the game more replayable and 1999 Mode more fun (as in, harder to kill but not ridiculously hard).

I would post it on one of the official forums linked on the page. I doubt the devs visit this wiki.
