Key points

Remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Improvements include higher-quality textures, built-in modding, engine optimization, full 64-bit support and a wide variety of new graphical and lighting effects.
Free to those who owned the original game and all its DLC on or before October 28, 2016.[1]

Fast-Sync Tweak

This reduces "input lag" as well as eliminates the screen tearing that would occur when playing with v-sync normally off.
This is only suitable for certain PC configurations: i.e. 60 Hz monitor with a high-end GPU which is able to render Skyrim Special Edition over 60 FPS constantly.
Instructions

Frame rate (FPS)

This tweak allows playing the game at high frame rates without the normal glitches that happen.
It is unknown as to whether it will impact your saves, break quests, or cause lag. Use at your own risk.
Instructions
  • In Skyrim.ini, add this line under [HAVOK]:
    • fMaxTime=0.0333 for 30 FPS, may help performance on slow computers
    • fMaxTime=0.0166 for 60 FPS
    • fMaxTime=0.0133 for 75 FPS
    • fMaxTime=0.0111 for 90 FPS
    • fMaxTime=0.0083 for 120 FPS
    • fMaxTime=0.0069 for 144 FPS
    • fMaxTime=0.0042 for 240 FPS+

AMD Frame Rate Stuttering/Screen Tearing

Default Skyrim v-sync frequently causes frame rate stuttering. Disabling in-game v-sync causes physics glitches. Enabling frame rate limiting in Crimson causes tearing
Instructions

G-Sync Frame Rate Stuttering

With Nvidia G-Sync enabled frame rate becomes unstable.
Instructions

Game crashes every 10-15 minutes on Windows 10
