Though this form DRM is obsolete in terms of development, it's still used by some games on Steam, such as Bioshock Infinite. Should this be added to the list of valid values? - 2001:14BA:A45F:7101:1919:F2F4:118C:E1B 19:52, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
Template talk:DRM
Just noticed this coming online, and while I think it's a great step towards standardizing how DRM elements are displayed on the wiki, I do take issue with how "DRM" is universally suffixed.
For example, taken from the Batman: Arkham City article:
- DRM: SecuROM and Games for Windows - LIVE
- becomes
- DRM: SecuROM DRM and Games for Windows - LIVE DRM
- Obviously, the user doesn't need to see DRM twice here. Even changing the beginning doesn't help much...
- Uses SecuROM DRM and Games for Windows - LIVE DRM
AFAIK, something like Uses SecuROM and Games for Windows - LIVE DRM would be more accurate as DRM has no plural form.
I will be making an update to address this limitation.
I have updated the template to support dual DRM situations.
