Talk:Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number
Hotline Miami? wtf
The link kept jumping to the wrong thread post. Here's an image instead. http://i.imgur.com/OaO3lym.png
Page stops "jumping" as soon as the it is completely loaded
The issue is already known, will probably be fixed in the next patch.
Now fixed in Editor beta branch!

Setting the game to Windows 98 compatibility mode sounds like a horrible horrible idea. I'd say this solution might be misleading.
Oh, you know.
Anonymous users.. The same morons that remove fixes from Dark Souls. as if any amount could ever be enough for that game
You could tell them that a software update brought waterproofness to their phones and they would believe oh.. it really happened..
Anyway, considering only the developers could know the game better than you, if you think something it's stupid terminate it.
Think I might remove it next time I edit the page. Still no clue where Win98 compat thing comes from... and unlikely mouse handling with OGL is less 'laggy' than D3D. D3D uses rawinput directly and OGL uses SDL2 to handle mouse, so if anything I'd expect rawinput to have less latency.
I'd seriously love to see more people like you
According to Dennis Wedin, Abstraction Games "did the final port" so it might make sense to list them as "Engine porting" or something like that.
I don't think so. They got a GameMaker-based game from Dennaton and building upon that. They also provide support now, so I'd say it's fair to call them the developers just as much as Dennaton. The fact you don't do storyline nor GFX asserts doesn't mean you are not a dev.
Yeah, I was mostly saying against excluding them. Them not being mentioned on pretty much any official resources is pretty confusing.
Well, they got an intro splash even BEFORE Dennaton ;)
I'd say keep as is, ie. as I reverted. They seem to push plenty of work into the game, maybe even around the same amount of effort as Dennaton themselves (since the latter made the plot and the assets BUT they work on a premade engine whereas AG got completed assets and built the engine pretty much from ground up).
GeneralFailer, the link you gave stating that Dennaton would "talk to Abstraction" refers to the question how the in-game level editor would work. Since the game is based on Abstraction's GameBaker and SilverWare, Wedin is about to ask Abstraction if they could develop something like the thing the questioner asked for.
Silent, the reason Abstraction's splash is first is because HM2 uses Abstraction's GameBaker and SilverWare (as stated above) and thus put it right in front. This is the same case as when you make a game in the free version of Unity, just because it is there doesn't mean that the Unity3D team worked on the game.
Abstraction is _not_ considered a developer of the game. The reason they are for the first game is that they ported the game from PC to PS3,4,Vita and afterwards patched the PC version.
It doesn't matter what the main message of the comment was. If I understand correctly, it implies that Abstraction handled the porting to the GameBaker.
As I've had the opportunity to see the process here, I'm going to just say it stays as it does.
But in the case of Abstraction, they DO work on the game. THEY add system-level features, THEY handle patches now, THEY handle user support. Not Dennaton.
Abstraction are HLM2 devs just as much as Dennaton.
Are we sure Australian users can buy it? I did test and Hotline Miami 2 doesn't appear in the humble store when I use a Australian IP.
It's banned down there so no retailer is going to sell it
